Barabas (imp)

Owned by Valinor Park, Barabas (imp) was bred by Robbie Den Hartog in the Netherlands. He has stood at stud at Valinor Park since 2003, with his first foals born in 2004.

Barabas (imp) stands 15.1hh and he is a straight Russian bred stallion. His grandsires are in turn the sires of the celebrated Russian stallions Nariadni and Muscat.

Much sought after for his endurance progeny, Barabas (imp) now has a number of his offspring competing successfully both here in Australia and overseas. His progeny have also proved highly successful in the show ring, having sired numerous East Coast Champions at Halter, Australian Champions at Halter, AAA Halter Champions as well as Top 10 Australian Champions.

Barabas himself is a Top 10 Australian Ch. Stallion, with numerous Halter accolades under his belt.

In 2007, a Barabas son, Baranski, was the 2007 Australian Champion Stallion at Halter. Baranski was bred by Marion and Tom Sharman, and shown by Richard Sharman. He is an outstanding Ambassador for his sire.

Barabas progeny can be viewed at the stud.
