Adras (imp)
Adras (imp) is an outstanding grandson of Drug (Russia), European Champion Stallion at Halter and Champion European Racehorse, the only horse to hold both of these titles. Bred at Tersk, where he was a senior sire, Drug now resides in Saudi Arabia.
Adras’ sire, Adres, was also bred at Tersk, where he sired some outstanding individuals before being sold to British interests. One of his sons is now a senior sire at Tersk, whilst another Madras, is European Champion colt, and he now has a filly who is also a Junior European Champion.
Adras’ dam, the beautiful and refined Arina, is a pure Polish mare, and Palas daughter, one of the most influential sires in Poland in recent years. Arina is dam of the black stallion, Arastin by Simeon Sadik, as well as the dam of a Polish Champion Racehorse, Arabeska, and Res. Ch. Czech Halter mare, Arwistawa.
