The original foundation mares for the stud were chosen on the basis of their bloodlines and Arabian characteristics.

Two of the original mares, Ralvon Fidelity & Ralvon Sycee, were bred by Ralvon Arabians and were
both daughters of the Supreme International Champion, Ralvon Pilgrim, a stallion of immense beauty, charisma and movement.

These mares however were valued at Valinor Park, not only for their beauty and type, but also for their endurance bloodlines, already having either a dam, or grand-dam who had achieved 3 Quilty buckles. In 1979, mares such as these were a rarity, since endurance riding only commenced in Australia in 1966, and at that early stage there were very few purebred mares competing, since they were regarded as much too valuable.

Ralvon Sycee herself competed successfully in endurance, and is today represented by the daughters Valinor Park Renaissance, (dam of East Coast Champion & successful endurance horse, Valinor Park Riyadh), and Valinor Park Trilogy.

Ralvon Fidelity, a AAA halter champion, is represented by the stallion Valinor Park Legend, successful at endurance and a AA halter champion, and Valinor Park Grace, both by Oasis Desert Song +s. Valinor Park Symphony, her daughter by Saracin (imp),has also been retained by the stud, and is the dam of the multi-award winning filly V.P. Sonata, by Barabas (imp). Ralvon Fidelity is also the dam of the National Stud Show winning stallion, V.P. Vega (by Milex imp), who was also a Top 5 Endurance Horse. V.P. Jericho, another son of Ralvon Fidelity was a National Stud Show winner, and Top 5 East Coast Champion colt. He is now the senior sire at Rutland Park.

Another of the matriarchs traced back to proven working bloodlines on her dams side, whilst her sire, Cool Hand Luke (imp), traced back to some of the best of the early Egyptian imports. Campelltown Justyna herself successfully competed in endurance Foundation Mares, Ravion Fidelity and Campbelltown Justyna
with daughter Bronwyn riding her when Bronwyn was 7 years old. Justyna is represented in the stud today by her daughter by Ralvon Pilgrim, Valinor Park The Temptress, herself a AAA halter winner. She is also the grand-dam of a number of successful show and endurance horses, including the eye-catching filly, V.P. Temptation by Barabas (imp).

El Badoura (imp) and VP El Sidaqua   Our imported mare, from the UK, El Badoura (Pandoer x Princess Badoura) is a Res. British National Ch. El Badoura has Palas (Pol.) close up in her pedigree on her sire’s side……..Russian and Crabbet. She is the dam of the beautiful colt, El Sidaqa, by Tehama na Sidaqa (Thee Cyclone), the South African Ch, Colt, now being campaigned in Europe. She is also the dam of V.P. Elation by Saracin (imp), a filly line-bred to Palas (Pol).
